"letting go doesn't mean giving up. it means moving on. it is one of the hardest things a person can do. starting at birth, we grasp on to anything we can get our hands on, and hold on as if we will cease to exist when we let go. we feel that letting go is giving up, quitting, and that as we all know is cowardly. but as we grow older we are forced to change our way of thinking. we are forced to realize that letting go means accepting things that cannot be. it means maturing and moving on, no matter how hard you have to fight yourself to do so."

Basically, I didn't get to sleep much because I want to watch tennis. I hated SCV because more than 3/4 of the tennis match between Lleyton Hewitt and Andy Roddick wasn't broadcasted and I missed it. In the end, Andy Roddick lost in straight sets, 6-3, 6-2. I was rather sad as I thought that he would get into the final easily, but I was wrong.
However, the other semi-final was spectacular! Both my idols were playing in that semi-final match. It's Roger Federer and Marat Safin. That match kept me awake until 6 plus in the morning. It's cool to watch them play because it's good tennis that I am watching. And in the end, after 1 hour and 47 minutes, Roger Federer finally got into the final in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6(18). The tiebreaker was around half an hour long, almost a set. I was so happy because Roger Federer was really cool and calm throughout the whole match. And he's got real strong backhand. The final will be 5:30am tomorrow and I am looking forward to it because I get to watch him play again. Being able to watch all these, I have to thank my mum for letting me subscribe SCV. Although Tennis Masters Cup is the last tennis tournament of the season, but I will be able to watch Australian Open next year, after pleading my mum. Overall, this month is a very memorable one and I am looking forward to subscribing SCV again! what say you? |
